  When I tell you this place is amazing, I'm not kidding! So my gf that I was staying with told me I had to go to this place and bring back some chocolate  for my family and friends! Can I tell you she understands me bc food = love  in my filipino culture! And damned if this wasn't some of the best and most beautiful chocolate truffles I have EVER HAD in my entire life!
  
  When I tell you I had to admire each and every truffle as I shared it with my boyfriend bc it looked hand painted. It and tasted as good as it looked too! The lady that was helping me, and I'll look up her name in case I put it in my tip, was so utterly sweet and helpful in picking out my different truffles! She even made a list of what each truffle was with a description! My only regret was that I didn't get a bigger box of truffles!!
  
  And while I was waiting for my truffles to be ready I overheard a regular who was raving about their chocolate  and told me I should order chocolate bunnies as well (this was during Easter  week!). I should have listened to the lady's advice! Hehe...
  
  In addition, I think it was the owner offered me a sample of their ice cream as well! Omfg, y'all I wish I got the Ice cream  too! I mean, this ladies know their craft and they know it damned well!! Now I have to see if I can order their truffles online! Bc I am literally sharing each truffle with my boyfriend and eating them one day at a time to make it last longer! It's THAT GOOD y'all!

  This WAS a gold colored peanut filled, very expensive chocolate gourmet candy. When I got home to enjoy it, just look at the picture attached!
  Maybe if you eat it there, it won't turn into a chocolate MESS!

  First had Ex Voto chocolates at Solvang with wine pairing at the Royal Oaks. My wine went so well with all the chocolates I had. I had the Vietnamese coffee, Mac coconut and the hazelnut. Me and my girls just had to go to the store in Ventura just to try more of their chocolates, plus it was on the way back home to LA. Def worth stopping by.
  And I also tried their mocha espresso, delicious!

  Each visit to Ex Voto gets better and better, or I should say, tastier and tastier. And all with the BEST things in life: Chocolates, Coffee, and Ice Cream.
  
  Jennifer and Sophia are always gracious hosts as they guide you through all their latest creations.
  
  Handmade Chocolates here are truly works of art, and the specialty ice cream flavors are always creamy and delicious.
  
  They also celebrate holidays and special occasions with different limited edition Chocolates. I follow them on Instagram to keep up with their daily/weekly specials.

  Husband found this place and we ordered:
  1) Mint chip & Coconut caramel chip $7.00 for double scoop! So good, refreshing flavors and we ate it so quick.
  2) Milk old school $11.50 - chocolate at its finest, award winner too!
  
  Free parking right outside the shop along the street, or large parking lot in the back.
